•          Go to the PayPal website.
•         Sign in.
•         Click on Forgot password.
•          Now enter your email information and the code.

Reset PayPal Password Without Phone Number

Here is how to change PayPal password without phone number. Follow them to recover PayPal forgot password and register a new phone number.

• Go to PayPal account login page.
• Enter your username or email address of your PayPal account. Click next.
• Here you can either opt for receiving an email or get a call from them. This will confirm your identity as account holder.
• Now enter the code which you have received on email address or phone number, whatever you have selected.
•  Now , you will get an option to reset your password and update it.
•  In case you have opted for a call, you will get a call from them. They will provide you a code, enter this code and confirm your identity. Click on “Next”
• Reset your password. Create a strong password using letters, numbers and characters.
  Now you have successfully created a new PayPal password.

You can also turn on two factor verification for PayPal. This provides extra security to your account.  For two factor verification,

·     go to control Panel and then click on my account.

·     Select my user and go to two factor verification.

·     Click enable and enter the password.

·     You will now have to scan QR code using a supporting app from your mobile.

·     When you click on SMS as primary, you will get a code on the phone number.

·     Enter the code in the required field and the process is complete.

You can also change the security questions. Follows the steps below:

• Sign in to your PayPal account.
• Go to the profile section and select “Security”. From here, go to “security questions” and click on Edit button next to it.
• Now change accordingly and follow the instructions.
